Add a Section to the What's New Chapter to List All Interface Changes

IWBNI there were a section in the What's New chapter of the on-line documentation called Interface Changes that would contain a concise list of all changes that have been made to the Finale interface since the previous version.

This feature would be useful for users who are upgrading from a previous version of Finale. In most cases, new features or changes to existing functionality are manifested on the interface. One could use a list of interface changes to quickly find almost all aspects of the program that have been altered since the previous version. Also, third-parties that produce tutorials, manuals, books, tips, plug-ins or suggestion lists for Finale could use a list of interface changes to update such supporting products to be consistent with the most recent version of Finale.

The Interface Changes section could contain the following subsections: Terminology, Menus, Dialog Boxes, Palettes, Toolbars, Keyboard Shortcuts and Special Mouse Clicks. No information regarding the purpose or function of changes would be included in this list. Each item in the list could be linked to the appropriate section in the on-line documentation where the item is fully described.

For example, if the new name for Gizmos is Gadgets, and a button called B1 has been added to dialog box D1, and a list box called LB1 has been removed from dialog box D2, and a menu item called MI1 has been added to the menu called M1, then the Interface Changes section would contain the following items:

Interface Changes

Terminology
What were Gizmos are now called Gadgets.
Dialog Boxes
D1
B1 button added
D2
LB1 list box removed
Menus
M1
MI1 item added

Note: The list of interface changes proposed here would be provided in addition to the existing lists of New Features and Bug Fixes.
